HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION AGENDA
REGULAR MEETING WEDNESDAY, December 6, 2017 6:00 P.M.
AUDITORIUM 36 S. Main St., Eureka Springs, Arkansas
PLEASE NOTE NEW MEETING LOCATION!
Public Comment will be heard on each agenda item as it called.
Other Public Comments are best addressed to the City Council.

APPROVAL OF AGENDA

NEW BUSINESS:
1. Level II – 18 Elk – Move/replace front door; replace/expand rear deck/move stairway – Richards

2. Level II -- 24 Armstrong -- New front & side fencing -- Hunter

3. Level II – 26 Linwood – New roofing material -- Brittain
4. Level II – 30 Benton – Replace windows -- Evans
5. Level III – 21 Bridge – Change roofline; enclose deck – Morris/Tucker
6. Level I – 12 Cliff -- Add shutters to main house -- Bauer
7. Level III – 12 Cliff – New construction: convert studio building to one bedroom home – Bauer
8. Level III – 44 Kingshighway – New construction: greenhouse – ES Community Center Foundation

9. Level II – 8 Armstrong – New side & rear fencing – Nickelson

10. Level II -- 41 Alexander -- Replace rustic fencing -- Dryer

CONSENT AGENDA:
1. Level I – 37 S. Main – New sign – Hatch
2. Level II – 101 Spring – Replace rooftop balusters with matching balusters in new material– US Postal Service

3. Level I -- 17 Howell -- Change driveway/walkway configurations -- Lehman

4. Level I -- 19 First -- New sign --  Greene

The Consent Agenda items are Level I applications that the City Preservation Officer believes
to be in accordance with the Design Guidelines. Any commissioner or member of the public
may place any Consent Agenda item on the Regular Agenda for discussion.

ADMINISTRATIVE APPROVALS by City Preservation Officer: applications for repair
and work involving no changes in materials/color -- plus changes in roofing color.
1. Level I – 101 Spring – Replace roofing – US Postal Service

2. Level I -- 17 Benton -- New paint colors -- Knapp

3. Level I -- 250 Spring -- Replace limestone steps, landing -- Antonio

COMMISSION BUSINESS:
Expenditure for 1 year Dropbox subscription $99 from HDC account via debit card

Level III applications due by Thursday, December 21 other levels: Thursday, December 28
Please note that this is the only HDC meeting in December
